On this edition of Scrapbook Roseau County, Roseau historian Irene Olson tell us about how a young L.B. Hartz found himself employment as a door to door salesman selling vegetables. In 1925, Hartz would open his store in Roseau County and from there went on to own one of the largest chains of stores in Minnesota.
