Christenson loves to teach at Kittson County Central School (Hallock,
MN), and among her favorite subjects is art in its various mediums.
Thanks to a grant from the NW Minnesota Arts Council, Shannon will
direct a “Camp Art” in late June for regional students Kindergarten
through the 8th grade. She shares details of the camp and the list of
activities that will take place.

Topic: Spilde is an illustrator and mixed media artist in Karlstad. She has
a piece of art in the NWMAC “Parenthood” exhibit, at the NWMAC
gallery in East Grand Forks, MN. Alicia regularly has art in NW
Minnesota Art Exhibitions sponsored by the NWMAC. She also has a
“We Are Water” piece in St. Paul, as part of the State Art’s Board
Exhibition “A Creative Investment, Celebrating 10 Years of Legacy Art
and Impact.
Glen Braget welcomes pro wrestling personality Nikita Breznikov to the program to discuss his wonderful new book. ‘When It Was Real’, a look at back into the magical world of professional wrestling, specifically the World Wide Wrestling Federation, during the years 1970 to 1979.
Nikita Breznikov tells the story from two perspectives — that of a starry-eyed fan, and as the manager and tag team partner of the legendary Nikolai Volkoff. Nikita details the matches and feuds that took place during the ‘70s and gives his insightful, often-hilarious perspective of the events that took place.
