8-10 Newfest Celebration & 100th Year Celebration of the Newfolden School.—Newfolden
SATURDAY EVENTS INCLUDE:
• Pancake Breakfast from 8 am to 11 am
• Newfest Parade at 11:30 am
• Fireman’s Bratfeed
• Horse-drawn wagon rides
• Live music in the band shell from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm to include the Woodpicks

SUNDAY EVENTS:
• 10:00 am Community Church Service
• 9:00 am to 1:00 pm a Sunday Brunch served by the Lions Club
9 Street Fair in downtown Grand Forks from 10 am to 10 pm – to include live music at Town Square.
10 Robby Vee and his “Rock n’ Roll Caravan Live!” 7:00pm at the Arts on Fifth Center —Stephen
**Auditions for the Northern Valley Youth Orchestra will be held from 5:30 until 8:30 pm at the Empire Arts Center in downtown Grand Forks on Sunday the 10th and at Grand Forks Central High School on Monday the 11th.**

Misti Koop (Cope) is President of the Board of the Summer Arts Stages and Safari in East Grand Forks, MN. The troupe produces and directs children’s musical theater in northwest Minnesota. “Stages” is a 2 week theater camp in East Grand Forks. “Safari” is a traveling children’s theater experience. Misti shares details of her work with the organization and she is a performer herself, currently working in the “Medora Musical”, live on stage productions in Medora, ND.

The guest is Annelee Woodstrom of Ada, MN. She is the recipient of the “Northwest Star Award” from the NWMAC for her work in writing. Annelee tells her story of growing up in Nazi Germany and her subsequent life in the U.S.A. as a teacher and writer.

7 The GGF Symphony Orchestra’s Season Finale is Sunday, May 7th and will include over 60 musicians. Performance time is 2:30 pm at the Empire Arts Center of downtown Grand Forks.

11 Roseau Elementary School Spring Programs Grades 1-3 at 10am and 2pm. @Roseau School Theater.

11-14 The GGF Community Theater present “Little Shop of Horrors” at the Fire Hall Theater of downtown Grand Forks. Curtain time is 7:30 each evening with a Sunday matinee at 2:00 pm.

11-17 Norwegian Heritage Week Celebration of Syttende Mai, Norway’s Constitution Day in Thief River Falls.

12 Elementary Spring Concert 2pm. Grades 1-6 Performing. @Badger. MN School Gym.

18 Argyle Park & Rec Summer Kickoff Carnival 5:30pm – 7:30pm. Games, Family Fun & Food, Raffle. @Island Park in Argyle.
