Alicia Spilde of Warren, MN is part of community effort to establish a new military veteran’s memorial at the Marshall County Courthouse in Warren. The NW Minnesota Arts Council has awarded partial funding for the project; to include a huge mural, computer/television kiosk and outdoor markers. Artist Nick Reitzel joins the conversation as well.
The Northwest Minnesota Arts Council has announced their Award of the Year winners – to include a 5-thousand dollar cash award and the 4th Annual Freedom Festival will be held on Saturday, July 25th in Goodridge, MN!
Kelly Thygeson, a native of Plummer, MN and long-Time Thief River Falls resident. Kelly owns “Tonnabells” in Thief River Falls – a small business that features works of art by local artists and handcrafters. Kelly is also looking for other artists and art to sell in her store.
The guests are Tracey Wensloff and Sue Suess of Roseau, MN. With a grant from the NWMAC they spearheaded a project to build a baseball complex archway for Gilbertson Field in Roseau.
