On this edition of MN Arts on the Road, Pioneer 90.1 welcomes Bluegrass band the High 48’s.
In a genre mostly dominated by artists and players from the South, The High 48’s are born and raised in the Upper Midwest. The High 48’s are a band of talented songwriters who contribute originals as well as a few festival favorites thrown in.

Adam Wayne Wollenburg is an Austin, Minnesota-based singer songwriter. Adam’s debut song is “Good Pennies Keep Coming Back”
Adam Wayne Wollenburg’s music sounds like Nashville, but he’s Minnesotan through and through. All you need to do to verify that is check out what this guys likes to do in his free time. He’s a race car driver, a duck hunter and a fisherman.
Where he differs from the typical Minnesota guy is that he spent some time in Nashville – playing clubs like Tootsies Orchid Lounge and writing songs with other country performers.
On this edition of MN Arts on the Road, the music of Little Winter. Little Winter was formed in 2007 by former Thief River Falls residents Kris and Ben Adamson and Ryan Weisse.
Since then they have been gigging in select spots in Northwestern Minnesota and Northeastern North Dakota.
On this edition of MN Arts on the Road we welcome to the program singer-songwriter Wayne Hamilton. Wayne has been performing music of one kind or another since his childhood years and to this day continues to write songs and jingles. He also performs regularly in the active acoustic-music circuit in the Twin Cities region.
