Peter Wilber on The MixtapePeter Wilber is a Grand Forks musician who plays with the bands Dead Ringer and Seven Dollar Shift. Some of his former bands include The Great Outdoors, Zen Mothers and Mischief. Listen to his live performance from “The Mixtape” with Jeremy Haug, Thursday nights, 6-9PM on Pioneer 90.1.
Monroe CrossingBluegrass music lends itself to casual dress. When your plans just involve some pickin’ on the front porch, jeans and an old flannel shirt will suffice. But Twin Cities bluegrass group Monroe Crossing is known for its sharp, yesteryear-inspired stage outfits as well as its high-energy take on the high-lonesome sounds of its namesake, Bill Monroe.
Mark Johnson visits with Matt Thompson and Lisa Fuglie from Monroe Crossing as we listen to a live performance from the Kezar Music Showroom in Thief River Falls.
Minnesota Arts on the Road is made possible by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, and is produced by Pioneer 90.1 in Thief River Falls.
Calamity James in-studioListen to Grand Forks acoustic trio Calamity James playing live in-studio on “The Mixtape” with Jeremy Haug.
