Thursday, February 1st through Sunday, February 4th
Thursday, February 1st through Sunday, February 4th – The Greater Grand Forks Community Theater presents “Over the River and Through the Woods” at the Fire Hall Theater in downtown Grand Forks. Show time is 7:30pm with a Sunday matinee at 2:00pm.
Friday, February 2nd – Author Jill (Musburger) Johnson will give a talk about her book, titled “Little Minnesota in World War II.” A former soldier from Halma, Minnesota will also be on hand. The presentation begins at 1:00pm, at the First Lutheran Church in Karlstad, Minnesota.
Wednesday, February 7th – The University of Minnesota at Crookston presents “What’s on Wednesday?” Spoken Word Artist Ebony Stewart. Will be featured in Bede Ballroom at 7:00 pm on the UMC campus. Stewart is a touring performance artist and slam poet who has been active in central Texas slam poetry and theater community for ten years.
February 8-10 – “Hand to God” will be performed at the Empire Arts Center of downtown Grand Forks. Showtime each evening at 7:30pm. The performance has an adult theme.
Sunday, February 11th – Jeffrey Smith, professor of history from Missouri, will perform a one-man show in character as the Scottish-American entrepreneur
