Thursday, January 25th through Sunday, January 28th
Saturday, January 27th – The BEO String Quartet will perform at Red River High School in Grand Forks, as part of the All City Orchestra Concert. Performance time is 7:00pm.
Saturday, January 27th – The Museum of Art, on the UND campus in Grand Forks, will host “Family Day” from 10:00am to 12:00noon. It’s free and open to children and their caregivers. This Family Day the museum will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of ArtWise! Work with ArtWise artists making puzzles, zipper pulls, and jellyfish hangers, paint and create snowmen, lacing and more.
Thursday, February 1st through Sunday, February 4th – The Greater Grand Forks Community Theater presents “Over the River and Through the Woods” at the Fire Hall Theater in downtown Grand Forks. Show time is 7:30pm with a Sunday matinee at 2:00pm.
Friday, February 2nd – Author Jill (Musburger) Johnson will give a talk about her book, titled “Little Minnesota in World War II.” A former soldier from Halma, Minnesota will also be on hand. The presentation begins at 1:00pm, at the First Lutheran Church in Karlstad, Minnesota.
February 1-3 & 8-10 – “Hand to God” will be performed at the Empire Arts Center of downtown Grand Forks. Showtime each evening at 7:30pm. The performance has an adult theme.
Saturday, February17th – Hayes Lake Ice Fishing Derby All Day Family Event from 10:00am to 3:00pm at Hayes Lake in Wannaska, Minnesota. There’s a five dollar entry fee, with prizes. Minnows will be availa
