Rock Bakken of Hallock, MN is deeply rooted in his community and in the region. He’s been and continues to be the proprietor of a shoe and clothing store in downtown Hallock – while developing artistic skills in painting for the same decades. He and his son Beau currently have a “father and son” art display at the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council’s Gallery – located on the Thief River Falls campus of Northland Community & Technical College.
