Cathy Erickson, host of the Monday Night Variety Show, heard every Monday from 6 – 11 PM on Pioneer 90.1, will take her show “live” to the Commons area of Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls on Monday, November 24, from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.

This live show is open to the public and will be a fund-raiser event for Pioneer 90.1, helping the station to meet expenses not covered by grants and NCTC. This past summer the station had a large expense due to problems at the tower located west of St. Hilaire.

Area musicians will be featured during the live broadcast, including Dick Miller from Goodridge; Bob Skoglund from Holt; Lois & Lois from Middle River; Joe Smidt from Grand Forks; Maury Finney from East Grand Forks; and MORE!

A silent auction is planned during the evening and listeners are invited to bring pies or other items for the auction.

There will also be door prizes and refreshments during the evening.

Pioneer 90.1 FM features a wide variety of programming and all programming will benefit from your support of the live broadcast Monday, November 24th. See you there!
