Northwest Minnesota Arts Council (NWMAC) Executive Director Mara Wittman, discuses her recent trip to St. Paul, visiting with legislators in the Minnesota House and Senate as part of in “Advocacy Day” for the arts. She also reveals the names of regional artists who have won yearly awards for their work. In addition, Mara highlights the upcoming NWMAC “Spring Art Exhibit”, scheduled for mid-April in Middle River, Minnesota.

On this edition of Rasslin Memories, George Schire and Glen Braget interview Dean Silverstone, author of “I Ain’t No Pig Farmer”, out now from Crowbar Press. In his book, Dean Silverstone talks about his days of promoting Super Star Championship Wrestling in Washington State and also gives the lowdown on wrestling in the Pacific Northwest.
