Thursday, November 10th through Sunday, November 13th

• The 40th Annual Holiday Craft & Vendor Fair will be Saturday, November 12th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Thief Rive Falls.

• The Fire Hall Theatre of downtown Grand Forks presents “Hansel and Gretel meet Willie Wonka Junior”, November 18th through the 20th. Curtain time is 7:30 pm.

• The 2016 “Holiday Glow Art Show and Sale” is this weekend. Saturday the 12th from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sunday the 13th from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. The event is held at various locations on East Grand Forks and Grand Forks. More information at 779-1174.

• Sacred Heart High School of East Grand Forks presents “Charlotte’s Web”, November 17th, 18th, 19th at 7:00 pm and Sunday November 20th at 2:00 pm, onstage at the Sacred Heart Auditorium. Adults 10 dollars and students 5 dollars. Under 5 years of age are free.

• North Dakota – Manitoba Opera Auditions are being held on Saturday, November 19th at the Josephine Campbell Music Hall on the UND campus in Grand Forks. It’s free and begins at 11:00 am.

• The Empire Arts Center of downtown Grand Forks presents a “Christmas Story”, November 25th, 26th and 27th.

• “Who can take a rainbow, wrap it is a sigh, soak it in the sun, and make a strawberry lemon pie?” The Fire Hall Theatre actors can, that’s who!
Nov. 11-13 and Nov. 18-20, fifty-seven area children, grades 2-11, will take to the stage at the historic Fire Hall Theatre in downtown Grand Forks.

• Saturday, November 5th is Diva Day! From 10am-3pm local crafters, vendors & artists will be on hand at the Roseau City Center. Free admission.

• Sunday, November 6th “Popejoy” and the Strand & Jeffrey Jazz Trio will be performing at 7pm at the Stephen Arts Center in Stephen, Minnesota. Admission by free will donation if you choose and refreshments will be served.

• The UND Theater presents “A Man of No Importance” Thursday, November 10th through Saturday, November 12th at the Burtness Theater on the UND campus in Grand Forks. Curtain time is 7:30 pm.

• The “Holiday Glow Art Show” runs Friday, November 11th through Sunday, November 13th

Thursday, October 13th through Sunday, October 16th

• The Fertile Community Club is hosting their 29th annual Fall Craft Show this Saturday, October 29th at the Fertile-Beltrami School. Over100 vendors will be at the show.

• The North Dakota Museum of Art is hosting another “Family Day” this Saturday, October 22nd – from 10:00 am until noon at the NDMOA, located on the University of North Dakota campus in Grand Forks. The art making event is for children of all ages is free.

• A professional string quartet will perform at the North Dakota Museum of Art in Grand Forks on Sunday, October 23rd. Performance time is 2:00 pm. The group won a Grammy Award in 2011.

• The Greater Grand Forks “ArtWise” is sponsoring an Appreciation Event on Tuesday, October 25th – from 6:30 until 8:00 pm at the Empire Arts Center in downtown Grand Forks.

• A tribute show featuring music from the Beatles, Frankie Valley & the Four Seasons and the Beach Boys will be held on Saturday, October 29th at the Chester Fritz Auditorium in Grand Forks. Show time is 7:30 pm. The Chester Fritz is on the west end of the UND campus.
