Thursday, April 20th through Sunday, April 23rd

• Friday, April 21st and Saturday, April 22nd – The 3rd Annual “Big Forkin’ Festival” will be held at the Town Square in downtown Grand Forks, featuring local music from all genres, with most bands originating from Grand Forks, Fargo or Winnipeg. More information at 701-746-0444.

• Saturday, April 22nd – The 11th season of the summer “Art & Wine Walk” kicks off in downtown East Grand Forks and Grand Forks. The adult only event runs from 1:00 until 5:00 pm.

• Saturday, April 22nd – The Grand Forks Master Chorale presents “Britten & Bernstein.” The 5th Annual masterwork concert begins at 7:30 pm at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Grand Forks.

• Sunday, April 23rd – Popple Ridge Pickers will be performing at 4pm at the Covenant Church in Lancaster, MN. Free Will Offering to support 4-H Drill Team, with a Pie & Bake Sale following the concert.

• Thursday, April 27th – Lunch at the Library with Joe McDonnell at 12:00 noon. Joe has traveled to Ireland numerous times and will share his knowledge and experiences. The event is free at the Roseau, MN City Center.

• Saturday, April 29th – The Argyle Parks & Recreation Department presents: Crazy Keys (Dueling Pianos) Entertainment. Showtime is 8:00 pm at the American Legion in Argyle, MN.

• Thursday, April 27th through Saturday, April 29th – The Empire Theater Company presents “Blackbird” at the Empire Arts Center in downtown Grand Forks. Curtain time each evening is 7:30 pm.

• Friday, March 10th – It’s Bluegrass music this Friday at Kezar Music Company in Thief River Falls. Monroe Crossing and the Woodpicks perform Friday March 10th at 7:30. Monroe Crossing recently released their fifteenth CD! The collection is entitled “Monroe Crossing Plays Classic Country” and it’s a bluegrass treatment of songs from George Jones, Hank Williams, Ray Price, Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash. Bluegrass with Monroe Crossing and the Woodpicks, Friday evening at 7:30 at Kezar Music Company, Thief River Falls.

• Sunday, March 12th – A free music jam session will be held at the Greenbush, MN Community Center beginning at 2:00 pm.

• Thursday, March 16th & Friday, March 17th – The Badger, MN School presents “The Twelve Worst Breakups of All Time.” Performances are at 7:00 each night and everyone is welcome!

• Saturday, March 18th – There’s a free movie showing of Disney’s “Moana” at the Roso Theater in Roseau, MN. Showtime is 2:00 pm.

• Saturday, March 18th – The Roseau Public Library presents….. Llama, Llama – part of their “Love to Read” series. The event is for children and begins at 11:00 am.

Thursday, February 23rd through Sunday, February 26th

• Sunday, February 26th – A variety show will be held at the American Legion Club in Middle River, Minnesota. The show begins at 4:00 pm.

• Sunday, February 26th – The North Dakota Museum of Art – located on the UND campus in Grand Forks presents their Sunday Concert Series. Appearing this coming Sunday at 2:00 pm is Pius Cheung.

• Thursday, March 9th through Saturday, March 11th – The 5-time Tony award winning musical “Hairspray” will be on stage at the Empire Arts Center in Grand Forks. Performances by the Empire Theater Company are 7:30 each evening.

• Saturday, March 25th – Comedian Bobby Bones and his “Funny Alone” act will be on stage at the Empire Arts Center in downtown Grand Forks….with special guest Walker Hayes. Curtain time is 7:00 pm.

• Tuesday, March 28th – TRF Entertainment Series Presents: “Russian Quattro – Quartet of Russian Virtuosos” at 7:30pm in the Lincoln High School Auditorium in Thief River Falls.

Thursday, February 9th through Sunday, February 12th

• Saturday, February 11th through Sunday, February 12th – The Greater Grand Forks Community Theater presents “Prelude to a Kiss.” Performances at 7:30 pm this Saturday evening with a Sunday matinee at 2:00 pm at the Fire Hall Theater in downtown Grand Forks.

• Saturday, February 11th – The University of North Dakota’s Feast of Nations will be held at the Chester Fritz Auditorium on the UND campus. The event begins at 5:00 pm. The Feast of Nation’s is the biggest multicultural event in the region through skillful performances, cultural displays and food.

• Wednesday, February 15th – Comedian and balloonist John Cassidy will make an appearance at the University of Minnesota’s Crookston campus. The event begins at 7:00 pm in UMC’s Kiehle Auditorium.
