Mara Wittman, Executive Director of the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council, discusses the recently completed NW Minnesota Art Exhibit, held in Kennedy, Minnesota. Eighteen cash awards totaling $2,300.00 were distributed in adult and student categories and two regional residents were recognized for their artistic work and their support of the arts in NW Minnesota.

Mary Kooney is the City Clerk in Kennedy, MN. She’s also the site coordinator for this years Northwest Minnesota Art Exhibit, featuring over 100 entries of art work – generated by students and adults in a seven-county area of Northwest Minnesota. Mary discusses the event and the artwork now on display at two locations in Kennedy.
