 The Greater Grand Forks Community Theater presents “I Hate Hamlet” – this Friday and Saturday at 7:30…. at the Fire Hall Theater in downtown Grand Forks.
 The 42nd Annual Goose Festival is this weekend in Middle River, MN with many activities for the entire family, including a live stage performance by the Middle River Community Theater.
 The 63rd Annual Potato Day will be held in Williams, MN on Saturday, October 8th. Events include a parade, live music, dancing, contests and more.
 The East Grand Forks “Arts and Crafts Fair” is this weekend – Saturday, October 1st and Sunday, October 2nd at two locations…. The civic center and the VFW arena.
 The world famous Glen Miller Orchestra will perform on Monday, October 3rd at the Grand Forks County Historical Society on Belmont Road in Grand Forks. The concert is free and begins at 7:00 pm. Among the favorites being played – “In the Mood” and “String of Pearls.”
 The Empire Theater Company presents “Constellations” October 13th, 14th and 15th at the Empire Arts Center in downtown Grand Forks.

Community Calendar

The Greater Grand Forks Community Theater presents “I Hate Hamlet” – this Friday and Saturday at 7:30 with a Sunday matinee at 2 pm at the Fire Hall Theater in Grand Forks.
 The Tony Award winning musical “One: The Musical” is onstage at the Chester Fritz Auditorium on the UND campus in Grand Forks – Saturday, September 24th at 7:30 pm.
 The Greater Grand Forks Symphony Orchestra’s season opener is this Sunday, September 25th as they perform the “Italian Symphony” at the Empire Arts Center in downtown Grand Forks. Performance time is 2:30 pm.
 The group “Celtic Thunder” performs at the Chester Fritz Auditorium on Wednesday, September 28th. Show time is 7:30 pm.
 The North Dakota Museum of Art presents Canadian musician Fred Eaglesmith and The Travelling Steam Show – live at the Empire Arts Center in downtown Grand Forks on Wednesday, September 28th. Music begins at 7:00 pm.

 The Greater Grand Forks Community, opening its 69th with a salute to one of the great stage actors of all time, John Barrymore…in a production called “I Hate Hamlet.” Performances run this weekend, the 16th, 17th at 7:30 pm with a Sunday matinee at 2:00 pm.

 The next “Art & Wine Walk” in downtown East Grand Forks and Grand Forks is this Saturday afternoon, September 17th from 1 until 5 pm.

 Collin Hauser will perform live on stage at UMC on Monday, September 19th. Featured music will be blues, jazz pop and folk at the Sargeant Student Center at 11:30 am.

 The Greater Grand Forks Symphony presents “La Bella Musica” on Sunday, September 25th. Curtain time is 2:30pm at the Empire Arts Center in downtown Grand Forks.

Thursday, September 8th through Sunday, September 11th

 The Greater Grand Forks Community, opening its 69th season on September 15th, will pay homage to one of the great stage actors of all time, John Barrymore…in a production called “I Hate Hamlet.” Performances run September 15th through the 18th – evening performances on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 with 2pm matinees each Sunday through September.

 Grand Forks native Joel Vig – who has performed on and off Broadway for more than 40 years – returns to Grand Forks to perform and read poetry at the Fire Hall Theater in downtown Grand Forks….October 7th, 8th and 9th at 7:00pm each evening.

 The Crookston campus of the University of Minnesota will observe the Chinese “Moon Festival” on Thursday, September 15th at 3:00 pm in the Sargeant Student Center at UMC.
