Kaydell Super of Middle River, MN shares details of the upcoming “Goose Festival” and the Middle River Community Theater production of “Interruptions.
The Warroad School District recently completed a mural in the Warroad Elementary cafeteria with the help of artist Victor Yepez and the 6th grade students. The theme of the mural is the four seasons around Lake of the Woods incorporating all the great elements of northern Minnesota. Superintendent Paula Foley discusses the project’s history and its funding – with help from the NWMAC.

Alicia Spilde of Karlstad, MN has a distinctive and unique mixed media approach to her work – using acrylic paint and fine markers with collage. She currently has a piece on display at the Thief River Falls, MN public library, as part of the NWMAC 2016 Traveling Art Exhibit. Alicia discusses her love of art and her unique style in creating art.
Oklahoma native Jodi Peterson teaches art at Norman County West High School in Halstad, MN and she produces what she teaches – creative and unique works of glass art. Jodi has a collection of her work on display at the NWMAC gallery and gift shop in downtown East Grand Forks, MN. She shares her story of “glass.
