Ron West chat with Jim Kent of Crookston, MN. Jim won the NWMAC 2018 “Northwest Star” award. He is an established musician, long-time teacher of music in the Crookston public schools and the University of Minnesota – Crookston campus. He is active in Community Theater, Community Oratorios and many other music-based activities.

Scott Pream of Thief River Falls is the NWMAC Artist of the Year Award for Acting.  He received the award during the Spring NWMAC Art Exhibition and Arts Expo in Thief River Falls in late April.

Scott talks about his reluctances to act – shy – and his now very active involvement in theater and singing in northwest Minnesota.

She also gave details on an upcoming grant deadline and openings on the NWMAC Board of Directors.
