Ron West chats with Sarah Meisenge, Artist and Entrepreneur from Roseau, MN. She established the “Little Swedish Shoppe” in Roseau to help promote Scandinavian-based art.
She talks about her “community” business and the assistance that she has received from the NWMAC to help promote the arts and culture within the region.
Connie Hannesson received a quick turnaround grant from the NWMAC for a 1850s costume, for a re-enactment of Sarah Sibley. In 2018 she has given presentations at seven Minnesota schools, an assisted living facility, and the Crookston (MN) Public Library. She is also scheduled to do two additional appearances before the end of the year.
