Chris is a teacher at Warren-Alvarado-Oslo School. He has a sculpture series that is a part of our Impact of Technology Art Exhibit at Northland Community &Technical College (Thief River Falls campus). His series includes everyday technological devices that have been modified into or contain concealed toy weapons. “These odd juxtapositions and larger than life size scale serves as playful metaphors, drawing attention to the absurdity of our often unfounded and irrational fears.”
Cindy recently received a grant from the NWMAC Gallery to help advance and promote her work in Handprinting: “Growing in my Art – Seeking and Developing Handprinting Options.”
Kendra is one of multiple regional artists with artwork on display at the NWMAC Gallery – located at the Thief River Falls campus of Northland Community & Technical College. Kendra’s work is part of the NWMAC “Winter Fantasy” art exhibit and she discussed her love for illustrations, with an emphasis on reflecting images of human beings.
Katelyn is a regional artist and a full-time student in the Equine Program at the University of Minnesota – Crookston campus. She is a sculptor and she depicts her pieces of art – style and design – that are now on display at the NWMAC Gallery on the Thief River Falls campus of Northland Community and Technical College. Katelyn’s work is part of the NWMAC “Winter Fantasy” art exhibit.
Shantelle is a regional artist who recently moved to Thief River Falls and has become active in promoting the arts in TRF. A NWMAC gallery at Northland Community & Technical College is displaying her work as part of their “Winter Fantasy” art exhibit. Her creation od “An Individual Exploration of Spirituality and her “Bean” series are on display and for sale to the public.
