It’s back up MN Highway 59 North to Karlstad, Minnesota for the Tri-County High School Music Departments Spring Concert 2015. In this hour, featured performances from the Tri- County Choir, directed by Sara Carpenter and the Band, led by Brad Thompson.

Time to head north on Highway 32 for Music from the Past presented by the Greenbush-Middle River High Music Department who are usually under the direction of Jo An Peterson but due to an unfortunate injury suffered a few weeks prior and was unable to appear at tonights event. Stepping in to guide the students to the days leading up to the Concert was guest director Jeffrey L. Galle. Selections from the worlds of 1950-60s Pop and movie music and some light hearted fun awaits.
On this edition of the Music Room, the Thief River Falls Lincoln High School Bands Spring Celebration Concert, under the direction of Katie Hahn. Music performed by the LHS Jazz Band, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble with featured soloists .

The Music Room travels south on Highway 32 to introduce for the the first time to the music room, the Red Lake Falls School band department, under the direction of Lacie Hovland. I had the chance to recently travel to Red lake falls to record their Spring Band Concert. On this edition we will get a full sample of the Red Lake Falls public schools Elementary, junior and Senior high bands, Drumline, jazz band and a few solos thrown in as well.
The following was recorded April13 2015 at the Lafayette High School gymnasium in Red Lake Falls. The Red Lake Falls JH band will get things underway with their set featuring the selections Cups, barn dance, reflections and to get things underway Grease.
On this episode of the Music Room, enjoy the Thief River Falls Lincoln High School Orchestra and Symphony under the Direction of Derek Druse as they present their 2015 Winter Concert. The Orchestra will be performing selections from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the motion picture Braveheart. The Symphony performs two selections as well.
