But why watch a movie about bird watching, when you can watch birds right in your own backyard?

Heidi Hughes, manager of the Audubon Center of the Red River Valley in Warren, will have a presentation on attracting birds to your backyard Monday evening at 6:30 the Thief River Falls Public Library.

“Northland Spotlight” can be heard every Monday at 3:05 PM.

Dr. Temte discusses her initial impressions of the new Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System (MNSCU) Chancellor, Dr. Stephen J. Rosenstone.  She also explains  potential MNSCU frameworks for the future, a new aviation grant received by Northland from the United States Department of Labor, a Regional Economic Development Summit held  May 10^th on the NCTC/Thief River Falls campus and her response to recent “Feedback” sessions, held to enhance the quality of services and programs provided by the college.
