It’s been 16 years since Jo Dee Messina had her first hit with “Heads Carolina, Tails California.” Since then, she’s racked up nine Number One country singles. She was the Country Music Association Horizon Award winner in 1999, and the Academy of Country Music’s Top New Female Vocalist in 1998. She has two Platinum and three Gold albums. And tonight (9/28), she brings her live show to Shooting Star Casino, Mahnomen. Jo Dee Messina talked with Pioneer 90.1’s Mark Johnson.
