Pat Heggen of Stephen, MN directs the “Arts on Fifth” program in Stephen. The center is located in a former church building and is home to live music, theater and artistic events. Heggen discusses upcoming events to include an appearance by the late Bobby Vee’s son – Robby, performing on September 10th and the financial support that the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council provides for the Stephen arts center.
NDMOA Deputy Director Matthew Wallace talks about the upcoming performance of Chastity Brown of Minneapolis, MN.
Chastity will be perform on Tuesday, August 8th – 7:00pm at the North Dakota Museum of Art in Grand Forks, ND as part of their summer series of live, outdoor music.

The Thief River Falls Area Community Theater (TRFACT) and current productions of “Lion King Kids” (July 24 – 26) and “The Sound of Music” (August 1-3). All performances begin at 7:00 pm at the Northland Community and Technical College Theater in Thief River Falls.
TRFACT is also conducting a summer training program for aspiring actors called “STAR.” The program curriculum includes improvisation techniques, character development, body movement, subtexts, stage direction and more.
