November 10th – November 12th The Greater Grand Forks Community Theater presents Disney’s “High School Musical” at the Fire Hall Theater in downtown Grand Forks. Curtain time Friday and Saturday at 7:30 with a 2:00 pm Sunday matinee.
November 11th A free showing of the movie “Cars 3” at 4pm at the Roso Theater in Roseau, MN. Movie-goers are asked to bring a donation of a personal hygiene item for the Roseau Women of Today Community Pantry.
November 14th The Annual Swedish Pancake Supper will be served from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Community Center in Malung, MN.
November 15th Ojibwe Culture Night will be held at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. The event is free and runs from 6:30 until 7:30 at the UND American Indian Center on campus.
November 17th – November 19th The Sacred Heart High School Drama Department presents “30 Reasons not to be in a Play.” Curtain time is 7:00 pm on the 17th and 18th, with a 2:00 pm matinee on the 19th at Sacred Heart School in East Grand Forks.
November 17th – November 19th Back again, the 2017 “Holiday Art Crawl” will be held where local artists open their homes and studios to the public. Each stop has award winning arts including painting, collage, pottery, carvings, jewelry, music and more! The event is free and offers treats, food and beverages. More information at 218-779-1174.
November 24th 25th & 26th Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas” will be performed at the Empire Arts Center in downtown Grand Forks.

November 5th The North Dakota Museum of Art – located at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks – presents in next performance in the “Sunday Concerts in Galleries” series. Featured at 4:00 pm is the duo “The Afield.”
November 6th The University of North Dakota’s “Steel Pan Ensemble” will perform at the Chester Fritz Auditorium at UND. Performance time is 8:00 pm.
November 8th Badger Veterans’ Day Program begins at 10:00am in the Badger, MN High School Gym.
November 10th Veteran’s Day Program at 10:30am. The guest speaker will be Congressman Collin Peterson. Music will also be presented at the Tri County School Gym in Karlstad, MN.

Jane Anderson of Thief River Falls, MN discusses her new role, on-staff, with the NWMAC community outreach.
Jane is also the Director of the Community Theater in TRF and she highlights an upcoming performance of “Godspell” by the Area Community Theater of Thief River Falls, MN. Auditions for that performance are coming up in mid-November.
She also performs a special reading during the interview, for Halloween 2017!

George Schire and Glen Braget welcome Bertrand Hebert and Pat Laprade back to the program to discuss the long awaited, English version of their well received book about the life of Pro Wrestling legend Maurice “Mad Dog” Vachon titled: Mad Dog:The Maurice Vachon Story, out now on ECW Press.
