Topic: Through a grant from the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council (NWMAC) Debbie and her students were able to participate in an arts workshop in Bemidji, MN over the summer. They talk about their experiences including a painting that they did of the famous Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox statues on the shore of Lake Bemidji. Their work was place on a flyer that was produced by the Bemidji Tourism Department.

Glen Braget chats with Richard Vicek, pro wrestling historian and author of Bruiser: The World’s Most Dangerous Wrestler, about the history of pro wrestling in Chicago and the Chicago Wrestling Club. From 1966 to 1983, the CWC was a major pro wrestling center in the United States. The CWC consisted of Verne Gagne’s AWA with Dick the Bruiser and Wilbur Snyder’s WWA. It’s an interesting piece of pro wrestling history.
