The legendary Handel’s Messiah was performed at Thief River Falls Redeemer Lutheran Church by a an all star group of talented local vocalists on December 14, 2014. The event was organized and coordinated by Jane Anderson, Barb Geer and Vanessa Martell.

The Music Room finds itself back on the road heading up familiar Highway 59 North to Glen Braget’s old stomping grounds, Karlstad, Minnesota, for the Tri- County High School Music Department’s Christmas Concert Event.
This concert features the Tri-County Concert band, under the direction of Brad Thompson as well as the Concert Choir, under the direction of instructor Sara Carpenter. The following was recorded December 18, 2014 at the Tri-County High School Gymnasium in Karlstad, Minnesota.

The Music Room is very much in full supply of holiday spirit and wonderful music as we present Awake the Sleeping Spirit In Song featuring the Thief River Falls Lincoln High School Choral Department under the direction of Darcy Reece.
This event includes the LHS Concert Choir, Bel Canto Choir, Franklin Middle School Choirs, Vocal Inferno, First Edition, Bell Choir and the Lincoln High School Chamber Orchestra.

The Music Room takes its traveling holiday express up to Greenbush, Minnesota as the Greenbush- Middle River High School Music Department, under the direction of Joan Peterson, present their Christmas Memories concert. In this hour, your ears will be treated to the many talented vocalists and musicians that make up the Greebush- Middle River High school Jazz Band, Concert Band and Choir.

The Holiday season is in full effect on this episode of the Music Room as we present the Thief River Falls Lincoln High School Bands Winter Celebration Concert. Directed by the ever capable Katie Hahn, the program features the Lincoln High School Jazz Band, Concert, a Wind Ensemble and big combined band holiday jam to wrap up the evening.
