Glen Braget takes a deeper look back into the early history of Minneapolis based Soma Records, formed in 1954. Before fully embracing the Rock N Roll sound, Soma mainly recording polka music, old-time country and western and jazz groups in their early days of existence. Leo Kottke went on to become a very highly successful acoustic guitar player who has released more than a few critically acclaimed albums in his career. Instead of a career retrospective, MMM is dedicating the bulk of this episode to discuss and play Leo’s hard to find 1969 album 12 Bar Blues.
