• Saturday, March 5th – The Fire Hall Theater will be holding a fundraiser at “The Ember” located at 8 North Third Street in Grand Forks. The theme is “Downton Abbey” and will feature tea sandwiches, scones, clotted cream and a hat fashion show. The event begins at 11:00 am.

• Saturday, March 5th – An Agricultural Art display will be available to public through the weekend at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks. It consists of three antique pieces of farm machinery painted all white and the pieces are illuminated at night.

• Saturday, March 5th – Grand Forks Central High School presents “The Addams Family Musical” at 7:00 pm.

• Sunday, March 6th – The Greater Grand Forks Symphony Orchestra presents their spring concert at the Empire Arts Center in downtown Grand Forks. Performance time this Sunday is 2:00, with a pre-concert talk by the Maestro at 1:30 pm.

• Wednesday, March 9th – Women’s History Month will be observed at the Fire Hall Theater in downtown Grand Forks with 12 riveting monologues performed by 7 area women: called Blue Yonder. March 9th through the 12th at 7:30 pm and Sunday, March 13th at 2:00 pm.

• Friday, March 11th – The “Prairie Stage Trio” will be part of a stage show and dinner at the Heritage School in Karlstad, Minnesota. The pre-show begins at 6:30. Reservations at 218-436-2144. The public is welcome to attend.
