Glen Braget catches up with former Minnesota Independent pro wrestler Randy Gust. Originally from Sherack, MN, Randy talks about his life growing up NW MN, competing on the UND amateur wrestling team, training for pro wrestling career, working for Eddie Sharkey’s PWA promotion in the late 80s and early 90s, working with the infamous Herb Abrams on a UWF event in North Dakota, and his life beyond the pro wrestling ranks.

Ron West chats with Sarah Meisenge, Artist and Entrepreneur from Roseau, MN.  She established the “Little Swedish Shoppe” in Roseau to help promote Scandinavian-based art.

She talks about her “community” business and the assistance that she has received from the NWMAC to help promote the arts and culture within the region.

Connie Hannesson  received a quick turnaround grant from the NWMAC for a 1850s costume, for a re-enactment of Sarah Sibley. In 2018 she has given presentations at seven Minnesota schools, an assisted living facility, and the Crookston (MN) Public Library. She is also scheduled to do two additional appearances before the end of the year.
