Thursday, February 8th through Sunday, February 11th

• Friday, February 9th through Sunday, February 17th – The Greater Grand Forks Community Theater presents “Over the River and Through the Woods” at the Fire Hall Theater in downtown Grand Forks. Show time is 7:30pm with a Sunday matinee at 2:00pm.

• February 8th-10th – “Hand to God” will be performed at the Empire Arts Center of downtown Grand Forks. Showtime each evening at 7:30pm. The performance has an adult theme.

• Saturday, February 10th – The University of North Dakota presents their 56th Annual Feast of Nations at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks. Doors open at 5:00pm. More information at 701-777-2731.

• Sunday, February 11th – Jeffrey Smith, professor of history from Missouri, will perform a one-man show in character as the Scottish-American entrepreneur and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie on Sunday, February 11, at 3:30 p.m. at the Carnegie Building in Crookston. The performance is free and open to the public. Light snacks will be provided.

• Saturday, February17th – Hayes Lake Ice Fishing Derby – All Day Family Event from 10:00am to 3:00pm at Hayes Lake in Wannaska, Minnesota. There’s a five dollar entry fee, with prizes. Minnows will be available.

Matt Kroulik of Stephen, Minnesota is a wood carver and he talks about his work in the current exhibit at the NWMAC Riverwalk Gallery in East Grand Forks, MN. Matt is also a teacher in the Stephen-Argyle public school system.

On this edition of Rasslin Memories, Glen Braget welcomes Bruce Hart back to the program to discuss the reopening of Stampede Wrestling in late 1985 after the WWF expansion deal fell through, building up the talent base, dealing with egos in the locker room, training Brian Pillman and his honest and direct opinion on the direction of today’s product.
