The Northwest Minnesota Arts Council’s Executive Director, Mara Wittman, has an update on regional support of the arts and an invitation to show support for funding for the arts at the Minnesota State Legislature in St. Paul!

Mara Wittman, Executive Director of the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council (NWMAC) has an update on regional support for the fine arts and artists within the region!

Crookston, MN artist Heather Sabian produces artwork that is both unique and unexpected. Her images are produced from “rubbings from gravestones”, which in turn are transformed into colorful works that hightlight life and and the multiple flavors of life. Heather describes her preference for art, her journey to her point of expertise and her work with gravestone etchings.
