
As part of the St. Hilaire, Minnesota Lions Club, Jim and Jan Strandlie attended a Lions Club convention at the Minneapolis Convention Center. There were delegations from from 205 countries. Jan tells of the history of the St. Hilaire Lions Club and the ambitious fundraising events of this local chapter.

Minnesota is recognized as one of the healthiest places to live. The Mayo Clinic is known for doctors studying new techniques, groups of specialists working together, and a philosopy that better healing takes place in a loving, caring environment. Also in the show, Jan tells of recent loses in her life and how it made her think about her philosophy of life.
