Mixed Blood Theater brings “Daughters of Africa” to Northland

The one-woman show starring Thomasina Petrus, will be performed Wednesday (2/8) at 7PM at the Northland College Theater in Thief River Falls and Thursday (2/9) at noon at the East Grand Forks Campus. Both performances are free and open to the public.

“Daughters of Africa” was written for Mixed Blood Theatre by award-winning playwright Syl Jones. It’s a striking collection of profiles of remarkable famous and sometimes forgotten African-American women.

“Northland Spotlight” is aired Monday afternoons at 3:05 and highlights the activities, events, administration, faculty, staff and students of Northland.
