Glen Braget presents a grab bag of Minnesota Music this week with featured selections from Jimmy Bowman, White Lightning, Podipto, and a band that featured future Fabulous Thunderbird Kim Wilson.

Carl Unbehaun dedicates this edition of Minnesota Music Memories on “THE BIG THREE.” The Big Three moniker first originated because it was generally thought that three dance bands dominated the Twin City music scene back in the 60’s: The Accents, The Underbeats, and Gregory Dee & the Avanties, not to say that there were many other equally-talented groups.

Carl Unbehaun dedicates the whole program to 70’s rock band Gypsy and their second album In the Garden. The album peaked at #173 on the Billboard Pop Albums charts in 1971.
