Jill’s latest book tells the story of two basketball teams and their coach, Jim Musburger (Jill’s father), who coached and taught in Strandquist and Karlstad, two small towns in northwestern Minnesota from 1956 to 1979. A fascinating look back at just how special those small town sports rivalries were and how they are now just a memory in the age of school consolidation.
